Vodafone Data Traveller Update

Vodafone have announced that from the 19th September 2011, when you use mobile internet on your phone in 38 European countries you’ll automatically get the overseas data bundle for businesses, Vodafone Data Traveller.

Vodafone Data Traveller lets you use up to 25MB of data and mobile internet access per day for £1.66 (ex. VAT).
This will replace the old charge of 83p per MB (ex. VAT) that some of our business customers were paying, making it even better value for you to use data in Europe.

To help you keep a close eye on how much data you’ve used Vodafone will also send text messages to your phone to give you:

• a daily reminder of your mobile internet allowance
• an alert when you’ve used 80% and 100% of your daily mobile internet allowance
• an alert when you’ve used more than 25MB in a day

You don’t have to take any action to benefit from Vodafone Data Traveller. Vodafone will automatically add it your business account, for no extra charge, when you’re using data in Europe. Mobile internet access lets you browse the web on your phone, receive and send emails, run internet based apps and instant message.

Applicable countries are currently :
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark (inc. Faroe Islands), Estonia, Finland, France, French West Indies, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy (inc. San Marino and Vatican City), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (inc. Madeira), Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (inc. Balearic Islands & Canary Islands), Sweden, Switzerland

Customers who wish to have the Rest of World Data Traveller proposition (25MB per day for £5 a day) must opt-in separately.
